In the chat box of my trophy screen shot in "I WON 365 Bonitas $220 AGAIN !!!" posted under Trophy Collection my opponent, YoureGoing2CryNow, typed "now that was a total donk hand". Am I a donkey for playing that hand this way? I was called one. Give me your opinion. I was the chip leader about 60K to his 40K. I was already the BB. He only called the SB, he didn't raise. If he had raised 3 or 4 times BB, which is what I would have done with K Q, I probably would have folded. Then the flop comes K, 4, A which gives me a possible one end straight dra. I check and again he only bets 1500 so I call and lucky me the 5 falls on the turn. I check again not to reveal the nuts and he bets 3000 so I raise to 9075. Now there's an Ace showing on the
table and he's holding at best a pair of Kings and what does he do? HE GOES ALL IN! If my opponent had check/raised like I had it would have told me he at least had an Ace. Then when I beat him he has then nerve to say it was a "donk hand". Well, you be my judge. Lets hear it.

Heads up poker is a different game - you are playing the player more than the cards.

One reason I love HU - its physiological warfare. You are mixing up your hands, keeping your opponent off balance and that gives you an advantage. It is more about what your opponent thinks you have than what you actually have.

HU play for me is pure poker - where you transcend just playing the cards and enter the real realm of poker playing. Its the ultimate nirvana... where you get your opponent to lay down the winning hand because he perceives you have him beat.

you played it well.
he didn't. 1st of all he should have raised pre-flop and if he didn't do that when you raise he should have known he's weak and lay down

Replace the Q with a King and I got the same treatment last weekend.  Just one question if the dude would of pushed up the bet preflop  all in or 20K or something would you have called it.  According to some very knowledgable dude if the guy would of taken time to make a bet than the hand would of turned out differently since the card are spinning non stop all the time and then I dont know what worse,  the fact that regardless if he bet or not he should of lost the hand but if he waited 5 seconds longer to make a call or bet than he might have won the hand.  Something about that seems just wrong.  But its poker and Im sure for everyone he has called a donkey,  he has probably donked out enough people also since KQ aint a super strong hand anyways.  I just like to know what card is still spinning if the dude waited to bet  does teh K spin   and the others dont  does the 4  the A  or the 5 spin at the same time and the same speed maybe the T doesnt spin at all.  But Im just FN around since I went out in record time tonight

Like I said in my post, if he had raised 3-5x BB pre-flop I would have folded. Post flop I might have taken a chance and called.

fish·mong·er
noun \?fish-?mä?-g?r, -?m??-\
Definition of FISHMONGER
chiefly British : a fish dealer
Examples of FISHMONGER

   1. You can get fresh cod at the fishmonger's.

First Known Use of FISHMONGER
15th century

ok so i changed the monger to munger and split the word into two as this other definition from the urban dictionary gives the example of a munger. and now i am not so sure i should have made the comments about munger as i have....  omg it is a awful thing. so sorry ticket you are no munger.  but you are a fish dealer!!

yes witchy I am going to need that spell. i visualize a carp with a miniature donkey head!

OH yes, and then we shall see if he can swim with his braying head above the surface line. or just flounder (another fish all puns intended) below the surface looking for that  school of wayward mungers.

Usual spell requests are for Frogs, Penguins and Teddy Bears. What you thought it was just random that I have websites for just frogs, one for just penguins and another for only bears?

You do realize an all new creature will require extensive research & of course like any startup an influx of venture capital? Might need a few volunteers plus some help with writing the proposal for R&D funding from the WSBA.

hmmm, on second thought i may need a charm spell. once we see how he does in the 50k.
then i may have funding with the use of the charm spell. for the donkey headed carp R&D.

oh yes and ticketman if you get a craving for oatmeal.... consider this both carp and donkey's just love the stuff!!
