Generally speaking I like a site that has it's ducks in a row when it comes to graphics and no-brainer stuff like giving me a large chat window where and when I want it. Letting me upload my own avatar image, gives a place some personality. Giving me great stats on my play. Letting me see my position in the pack.

Some of the room features are distinct and can only be found on that room/network. These are great features at some of rooms that I really like:

BODOG: The spotlight that moves from player to player during a hand

MERGE: The Emoticons. Absolutely great way to chat

MICROGAMING: The "Bouncing Chips" when you bet or win

FULL TILT: Detachable Chat and Stats that you can put where you want

CAKE: The weird sounds they use for game play

POKER STARS: Overall well laid out. Simple but elegant

PKR: This place rocks. But I'm in the USA, and not big on play money these days.

EVERLEAF: The dealer voices and comments during game play


Now, if I could just find a poker site that had all of the above features, I would get one hell of a warm and fuzzy poker high.
