Why should you never iron a 4-leaf clover? You don't want to press your luck.

I am gonna start a challenge to see if I can make 5000 dollars playing nothing but free rolls. Now any money I make in the freerolls can then be used but no deposits. I owe this much so that's why I picked it. Anyway tell me about your challenges and how you did

I guess you aren't familiar with Chris Ferguson's 10K challenge. He played freerolls to get a bankroll started than worked the cash tables and tournaments to keep building. As a professional he was able to do it.

Set a more realistic goal for yourself. As to just playing freerolls to build your bankroll - the real money is made in the money added tournaments and at the cash tables. Plus the different poker rooms have deposit bonus's.

I take advantage of the various deposit bonus's by cashing out winnings from one poker room to using that money to deposit in another poker room.

That is the way to grow a poker bankroll - taking advantage of the free money - whether it be in money added to private tournaments, overlays in public tournaments or deposit bonus's

I haven't made $5000 at freerolls BUT I have made money playing freerolls and Forum Tourneys over the last couple of years.  The level of Poker Players is MUCH better in the forum games.

Did Chris Ferguson's challenge ever pan out?  I remember that...
