Ok I am going to make this short.  I am big blind have enough chips for 1 more BB  I am dealt QJ suited.  One player goes all in(at least one at the  table is doing this every hand and blinding me down)  I decided its do or die time since I have been card dead for quit a while.  The other person had AK and I won with a flush.  She got very rude and said she was going to quit since people were going to call with whatever 2 cards they got(I do not consider QJ the bet cards to go all in but they also are not just any 2 cards)  The person that lost the hand is one of the moderators at the forum and I feel like this was a very inappropriate way to act.  Earlier another moderator calls my A/10 and flop 5/7/10 I bet the pot she calls turn is A(rainbow cards no chance of flush) I bet the pot she even says oh you hit your A she calls the river is a 5 betting.  she bets i figure she hit the trips but I also have top 2 pairs and figured i am pot committed by then(and praying lol) she called me with 3/5 and won on river and the others told her good hand(especially the rude mod.)  HuhHuhHuh?  I need to know if my feelings about this whole thing are wrong  I do not think the 3/5 was good play and I don't feel that moderators should be rude.  one of my questions is  "why is my Q/J suited bad play but 3/5 is good play"

hiya chulita. Well, i can only say that sounds like a jerk moderator. Your play was absolutely right. Would of done the same myself.

If I get QJ suited with one BB left, I am one happy camper. going all in with this is a no -brainer. Glad you won. And it is no way an example of being a donkey.

A 10, and that flop, I will bet also. turn A, I will bet also. we are talking about top 2 pair here, with no flush. so she must have gotten the 4 on the river for a straight. Well, that is one risky donkey move in my opinion after your bets on this hand. It's called fishing big time. I see big stacks doing this sometimes, and of course donkeys.

But your play was sound. Don't worry about comments made by others, when you know that you made the right choices at the right times. I got called a donkey last night also for overbetting top 2 pair and fell to a hidden straight. I went on to place 2nd in that tourney.

Also, I really hope, and think that you are not talking about a TW game. as I am a moderator here. I know the other moderators here and can't imagine any one of them acting like that.

Some of you know I do play other forums games. It is a way that we support each other...plus I absolutely love money added games with a small field  Grin

There are several forums I have stopped playing their games. To me, poker is entertaining fun. For many their fun includes feeding their egos by making degrading remarks or questioning the play of others

In some cases I'm not even sure they realize what they are doing. There is one player in particular that justifies her donkey play with position, pot odds or the wind blowing at just that moment. But she tries to tilt everyone else with remarks such as "you are just lucky or WTF were you thinking or nice catch".

As long as the remarks are not obscene, I don't let what anyone says at the table bother me - instead I am usually laughing at their remarks. And for some I enjoy zinging right back. Obscene remarks get copied and immediately sent off to support.

In regard to your situation... your SS play was perfect and the other player was wrong. If you want to continue playing with that forum, I suggest you turn off your chat.

and also thank you for answering   I personally am just tired of some of the forums with their holier than thou attitudes.  They go on and on about "Respect"   Respect for the other players, respect for a bet or raise, and respect for the game.  I have the utmost respect for everyone that I play and have never been rude to the another player(except for a few ties when their comments could not be ignored)  And the sad part is I know I have improved at playing poker and trying to get better each day but then with  these people making their comments they have had me second guessing myself.  But it just seems to me that the administration and the moderators should be a little above us in their patience(since some are new and are learning the game) and also in their behavior.  Maybe this is an old fashioned way of thinking.  Anyway thank you all for letting me vent and not talking down to me.  I have asked questions on other forums about a play and they talked to me like I was an idiot(needless to say I don't go back)

hey thanks for the post chulita. I'm new to this moderating business myself. And also new to poker relativly speaking. No one deserves dis-respect unless they earn it by crossing lines, vulgarity, or a dismissive attitude.

I always try to keep all chat comments on a fun even keel. I will get rude if I see rude behaviour by another player. I also get my screenshot button ready to report them. I never think of myself, as a moderator, being "above" anyone. Anyone that would think so has a problem. I do tho try my best to represent this forum in the best light.

I also belong to other forums, as yourself. Glad I am not on the forum u are talking about. But I do have a frisky nature. PM me where this forum is at. I might just wanna go and wreck some havoc there, lol, I have been know to be good with a smart-ass comment or 2.

I played at the final table with you last night villaridge   my carbon name is guera58 and you all were perfectly civil.   I am trying to learn more and get better at the game and really do enjoy it when people are civil and there is good play going on.  So have fun at the tables all and good luck at your games.
