It isn't worth the hassle. Why would you want to play at a poker site that doesn't want you? And why would you take the risk of them confisgating your poker account for violating the TOS?

It is also used a lot by cheats. That is you buy 5 separate IP's through shady central american countries for a pretty penny, then you get 5 computers set up, and sit your "5" people down at a cash table, and wait for hapless victims to wander onto that table.

It is tricky to use a proxy server for connecting to a poker site software it can be done. To cash out using one is another story and pretty much impossible for the average player. As for sitting at the same table most sites have ways to catch that tables on most sites are randomly monitored looking for inconstancies in a players performance. I know of several accounts that have been closed just for that reason.

Most players that have been caught playing on more than one account on the same table do not use proxy servers they have multiple ISP.
