I was checking my email today and read about a new Hold'em game that sounds kind of interesting...No River Hold'em developed by the New Poker LLC.
I haven't been able to find a lot of information about it yet, but the basics are...
Instead of 2 hole cards, there are 3. Players can use 1, 2 or all 3 hole card to make their hands. There is no river card, therefore, one less round of betting. Starting hands that are possible increases from 1,326 to 22,100!
With that many possbilities, this variation of Hold'em should appeal to players who like to use a lot of strategy in their poker game. Also, the pots are generally bigger because more people stay in the hand and there is more betting involved.
I think it sounds fun and am looking forward to trying it out. If anyone finds any good information about strategy for this game, I would be interested...Thanks!
