I want to try to start multi tabling for profit reasons. I need some input from someone who has experience. I know to stay within my bankroll but how many should I do and what is the percentages that I'm hoping for All the input I can get will be appreciated. So far 3 tables I am comfortable with and 4 is a little bit tricky for me but do I need to do more or is this enough to make a continous profit

Jeez chipchomper. for someone that "just started" you are well, moving so freaking fast, and asking about stuff that is beyond all "just started"  people that I haVE EVER MET!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would say SLOW DOWN. or are u just posting for points so u can get another $5??? I am not talking on behalf of TexasWheel, just for myself, But hell chipchomper, you are like a poker player that found cocaine for the first time!!!!!!

You have gone from being a "new" player to "multitabling to "I blew $300 on cash" to "what is BRM" to "is it ok to skip limits in cash" Give me a break

For two weeks Ive done nothing but play poker and read books and ask questions like im doing now. I think Ive soaked up a year in the last week. I'm sorry I learn fast and I'm sorry I'm trying to get improve at to fast a pace for you but I can't help it. It's the way I am. I Want to do this for a living and I need to know everything I can. So when you reply please reply with answers not personal crap cause Im excited about poker and want to be the best I can. Everything Ive posted is in an attempt to learn and better myself. So you slow down Im not and before you know it you'll be watching me on T.V. playing the world series of poker. So if you want to help me help me but don't down me for working hard.

in my opinion if someone is playing online poker because they HAVE TO or NEED TO make money to solve financial or other life problems.then in the short run they are making a huge mistake.i don't think there's enough books to learn from or enough table time anyone can get,to make them learn how to make as much money as quick as possible  Wink

poker is an art that takes time to learn, and even then you'll still find things to learn even if you think your a pro.

LOL

Hey go for it. You are asking a TON of questions after having just found "POKER TWO WEEKS AGO". I have answered a ton of your questions already, You have ignored the advice given when it comes to BRM, and how to play FT's.

So I asked that you slow down. and now you wanna think I'm "downing you" for "working hard. NO I AM NOT. POKER TAKES TIME. let me repeat that...POKER TAKES TIME. If you wanna ask a lifetime of questions about poker in 2 weeks and then sniff when someone actually tries to help you. well, GOOD LUCK.

BUT I AM DONE WITH YOU

I appreciate all the help I can get but I don't see what is wrong with learning or asking questions which is the only way to learn. And you did practically accuse me of posting for 5 dollars or something. Anyway I wasn't snif I was just pointing out That I'm serious about learning and there is nothing wrong with that and as far as  making a living doing it I don't have to I want to and I'm not under any illusions that I will be  great all of a sudden. Yes I just started playing alot a few weeks ago but it's not like I never played before I gambled with my Father when I was 8 playing 5 card draw and stuff I just learned holdem and I just started playing online exstensively. So thanks for your help but don't tell me to slow down or stop asking questions because that's when you stop learning.

I thought the whole point of a poker forum was to share stuff and ask questions and learn from each other. I didnt know I wasnt allowed to ask to many questions sorry

............. I gambled with my Father when I was 8 playing 5 card draw ...............

I learned to play poker when I was a child - but I never "gambled"  A poker player is not a gambler. Poker is a game of skill and when you move to the next level a game of psychology.

Playing position poker,  representing hands based upon whats on the board,  playing the players as much as the cards, all skills that must be mastered.  I love heads up poker because the game has moved into a new realm of psychological warfare. These are all things you don't learn in two weeks of playing poker

Gambling?  No - I am not a gambler. The gambler is the one that plays favorite cards or chases to the river because they have "a feeling".

Ask questions, discuss, talk about specific hands - The art of poker is a life long journey,  always learning, always experimenting and always growing.
