The Microgaming Network recently did a major overhaul to their software. For the most part I like it. But, they really missed the boat when it comes to the "chat" feature found on the poker table. Like MOST ALL poker rooms  you can chat and and usually always have the option of selecting things like all chat, player only chat, dealer summary chat, etc. At a lot of sites you can resize the chat window.
At Microgaming they used to offer the option of all possible chat options. Now, you can only get a small chat area with no options at all. And that chat is so filled with dealer msgs, it's hard to ever see what a player wrote. They do have the speech bubbles on the table, but it only shows the first 5 or 6 words of whatever a player might have wrote.
This donkey wonders what in the world they were thinking when they decided to shortshift the chat feature.  So I asked at their live support. Alas, it doesn't seem that they are all that concerned about it.

Please wait for a site operator to respond.

You are now chatting with 'Miriam'

Miriam: Hi, welcome to our poker room.

Miriam: Hi

you: I can't get the chat window to become larger, and placed on the side of the table as I used to.

you: it only stays small now

Miriam: one moment please

Miriam: That is the way it stands cannot enlarge it  at this moment

you: well, good luck with that then. should be changed. where in the world can I at least change it so that I only see player chat instead of the annoying dealer chat for every little thing???

Miriam: No sir

you: are u saying that also cannot be changed?

Miriam: Maybe in the future we will have those options

you: OK. thanks. please tell the higher ups that this would be really nice

Miriam: For sure

Miriam: Thanks

Miriam: Have a nice day

Haven't played at Microgaming for a very long time... I'm in one of the eleven US states banned from playing... but this doesn't sound like a step forward

The tiny chat has been the one thing that has always annoyed me at Cake. You may have noticed we do tease each other a bit at the tables... and the chat messages fly by at Cake. Have to have all other options shut down in an attempt to carry on a decent teasefest Smiley

I thought this as well, then I figured it out...double click on the word chat...the chat window will go full sized.
At the bottom of this full sized window is where they have hidden the options of all chat, player chat, etc.  The Chat goes back to normal sized when you click somewhere off the chat window.

Hey Wixx, thanks. But I still have trouble with it. like u said double clicking the word chat does expand it. but not only clicking elsewhere reduces it back to small size. I find that any game action, like any player making a bet, call, fold, also automatically folds it back down.  Plus it covers the left side of the table and cannot be detached.

Also, i was very excited to see that once expanded, there is an area for you to change the chat options, just getting it off of "full dealer detail" would be a godsend. But I cannot get it to work, cannot get it to change.

So, at least now i can expand it to catch players chat, alltho fleetingly. Or, I'm still doing something wrong. Anyone know of a work-a-round?
