How come I never get that lucky?

I finished on the BUBBLE one time of one of those, going in with AA, and got busted...had I sat a little longer, would have hit $150.  Stupid play.  Got greedy.

well first of all JB it seems i have a certain stalker these days in all forums i visit lol    and second i'm still trying to recover from the horrid beat i took in this game very early on.so ok here's the scenario.

as much as i've been trying to forget this game,as prior to it,i was super excited at the chance to win some big bucks,unfortunately my dream game was cut short.

blinds were only 50 and 100 chips and i was dealt KK which i limped into the hand with,my opponent who had twice the amount of chips as me about 3,000 raised preflop.so i called.flop came 5 2 K.action was on me so again i decided to check,my opponent bets big to put me all in.i thought for a small second but then i quickly called.so now all my chips are in the pot with my tournament life on the line but i was feeling really good about the possible outcome.

turn card was a 5 and the river card was a A.my heart sputtered a little with that ace cause it was very possible that their whole cards was AA.the showdown ended and the cards were shown.and my full house was crushed.my opponent low and behold was holding pocket 5's  

its hands like this that sometimes really makes me want to stop playing online cards.in a game with a top prize of $20 thousand dollars,i was pretty upset for a few hours.in all honesty it wouldn't had mattered how differently i could have played this hand.even with a raise from me preflop.my opponent who was really aggressive would have called my all in anyway.

i wasn't going to update this thread as a couple of times it's gone away from its original thought.but since jeffsbabe has slowly over the last month or so become one of my newer friends at the table.i thought i'd give my result preferably just for you.take care JB and others and i do hope you get better results then i have been getting lately.

my luck in big regular network games is horrible,yet i'll play the little private forum $1 buyins ones where the caliber of players in my opinion are much better with $50 to $100 added and win them often.this is something i'll never figure out    but i'll continue to play because that's just how i do.

well hello elaine <--- sorry if i spelled that wrong    and yes mam that is the new and only addition to the family that kim and i have lol.his name is dylan.and thank you very much but the ticket was used and the game has been played and i have lost     but as you know there is always another game to be played tomorrow or the next.

by the way,i been a member here at texaswheel  for years now and is actually one of the first forums i ever joined,even before wass    i'm just not real active here as i forget about it from time to time.
