As many of you know, we've missed a week of Top-Stud, and there have been concerns that Cereus' new stricter policy for their private games might put the kibosh on the ol' Top-Stud league once and for all. I'm happy to announce that's not the case.

It's true that Cereus is holding their regular affiliate tournaments to a minimum 20 person turnout to continue holding games, and we had a few games--not many, but they were there--that fell below that mark, so they are paring us back to two games a month until we turn that around completely. Not the ideal solution, but a solution nevertheless.

So, we're going to take one more week off--I fear placing a game on the schedule with less than a week advance notice would result in another underachieving game--and come back on the 17th with an all-new 6th cycle. As of the time of this writing, here's how the schedule is going to pan out:

17 March - $25 Added Top-Stud 6.0: 7 card Stud at Cereus (your choice your choice UB or AP)
24 March - $25 Added Top-Stud 6.1: 7 Card Stud Hi-Lo at Full Tilt
31 March - $25 Added Top-Stud 6.2: Razz at Cereus (your choice your choice UB or AP)
7 April - $25 Added Top-Stud 6.3: 5 Card Stud at Full Tilt
14 April - $25 Added Top-Stud 6.4: 7 card Stud at Cereus (your choice your choice UB or AP)
21 April - $25 Added Top-Stud 6.5: Razz at Full Tilt
28 April - $25 Added Top-Stud 6.6: 7 Card Stud Hi-Lo at Cereus (your choice your choice UB or AP)
5 May - $25 Added Top-Stud 6.7: 5 Card Stud at TBD
12 May - $25 Added Top-Stud 6.8: Razz at Cereus (your choice your choice UB or AP)
19 May - $25 Added Top-Stud 6.9: 7 Card Stud at Cereus (your choice your choice UB or AP)
26 May - Top-Stud Cycle SIX Final: 7 Card Stud Hi-Lo at Full Tilt

You'll note the inclusion of Full Tilt to the schedule, to help us keep it to a weekly format. This was not the plan overall, but I feel we may be able to utilize this new schedule to bring new teams and new players to the league.
